AvDoc is an AI-powered platform for managing, searching, and analyzing aviation documents. The Service allows users to upload PDF documents, organize them, and use AI to search and extract information from their document library.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Upload documents containing malicious code, viruses, or harmful content

You retain ownership of all documents you upload to the Service. By uploading documents, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your documents solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

5.2 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content of documents you upload. You represent and warrant that you have the right to upload such documents and that they do not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

6. AI and Accuracy

The Service uses artificial intelligence to analyze and search your documents. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated responses may contain errors or inaccuracies. You acknowledge that:

  • AI responses are provided for informational purposes and should be verified
  • You should not rely solely on AI responses for safety-critical decisions
  • Always cross-reference AI responses with original documents
  • We are not liable for errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated content

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by AvDoc and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

8. Payment and Billing

Some features of the Service may require payment. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to:

  • Pay all fees associated with your subscription
  • Provide accurate billing information
  • Authorize us to charge your payment method
  • Understand that fees are non-refundable except as required by law

We reserve the right to change our pricing with notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

9. Service Availability

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRIOR TO THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE LIABILITY.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AvDoc, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the appropriate courts.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
